Information about our membership
Bournemouth Arts Club (BAC) welcomes new members who would enjoy being in touch with contemporary artists and participate in art related events.
BAC consists of Full Members and Associates. The Annual Fee is £30 for Members and £20 for Associates. There will be extra charges for some events and working days.
The Membership year runs from 1st January when subscriptions become payable, with half price fees for those joining after 1st September.

Members
Many members of the BAC have specific art training, some are art tutors, all have a serious commitment to their art work and a keen interest in the visual arts.
Members are elected to the club by a selection panel and prospective members should have a focused commitment to their art, experience of exhibiting and be keen to participate in club activities.
Committed artists who are familiar with Bournemouth Arts Club and have seen a recent Exhibition, may apply for full Membership and request a place on the next Selection day.
Applicants should demonstrate a considered, innovative and individual approach to their work and show expertise in their chosen media.
Prospective members are welcome to join in events at visitor rates.
Associates
Associate Membership (non exhibiting) is available to anyone with an interest in the arts who would enjoy participating in the club programme of events. Please contact the membership secretary.
Applicants for Member selection are welcome to join as Associates.
Friends
Several professional artists are linked to BAC as Friends. They share their knowledge and skills with club members through lectures, working days and studio visits. Friends are invited to exhibit their work when the opportunity arises.
