Antonia is a professional painter and printmaker based in Bridport. Her work is about being near the sea – from walks in Purbeck along beach and cliff top to the icy seas and rugged landscapes of the far North. Intense light and mood of water, bird shapes and trails are usual starting points…

Work is informed by coastlines and the fringes of land, created on location, from memory and sketches. Sketches are made on site and work is often completed immediately back in her studio.

A full member of the Society of Wildlife Artists she exhibits annually at the Mall Galleries, London. Trained in Natural History Illustration at Bournemouth College of Art & Design (’84 – ’88) and Advanced Fine Art at Arts Institute Bournemouth (2001 – 2002).
