Young Joo Shin Strongly inspired by the European impressionism movement, she had travelled to Europe in 2000, and realised why the scenery, light, tones and landscapes in Europe had made such an impact on artists such as Monet and Van Gogh. Young Joo moved to England permanently in 2003. Living firstly on the South Coast and now in the New Forest, her work represents her interpretation of local views and scenes, in a modern abstract style, using mainly acrylic on canvas |
