Pam Evans Pam started her art career at a very young age when she attended Hornsey Art School in London as a Saturday Student. She did not take up her hobby seriously until many years later when she took Art Foundation Studies at Shelley Park (now University Arts College, Poole) and then went on to take a broad based B.A in Art and Design at the University of Hertfordshire gaining First Class Honours. She was awarded a Distinction Licentiateship from the Society of Designer Craftsmen. The next years were spent teaching Art, Textiles and Ceramics before taking an M.A. in Fine Art (Painting) at Winchester. Although she would now describe herself as a painter she still produces work in other media. |

Statement “I have always taken a spiritual approach to my art. My early work was inspired by poets such as Blake, Milton and T S Eliot and I was interested in using text as a visual form, legible and illegible. Currently I am working on themes of journeys over difficult terrain toward the light and exploring my own and others experience in claustrophobic situations.” Amongst other venues Pam has exhibited at;
